The Problem

The world according to 2026:
The World Health Organisation states that Non-Communicable Diseases are responsible for 74% of deaths globally¹.
In the United States, the CDC reports that 75% of disease is preventable², yet only three percent of medical budgets are spent on prevention³.
Budgets skew heavily toward treatment over prevention. And globally, more spending doesn’t automatically buy better health. Among wealthy nations, the United States spends the most per person on healthcare yet delivers the worst outcomes - shorter lives and more avoidable deaths than its peers⁴.
In the UK, a third of children aged 2 to 15 are overweight or obese⁵. The American Academy of Paediatrics recently recommended anti-obesity drugs for children as young as 12. Drugs that require lifelong use or the weight comes back.
It creates customers for life, but not necessarily healthier lives. A similar business model to Happy Meals which helped start the problem in the first place.
And it’s not just weight. The National Library of Medicine lists prescription drugs as the 3rd leading cause of death in the USA and Europe, with 50% of those deaths in people who had taken their medication exactly as prescribed⁶.
Where is the “War on Drugs” headline here?
We live in a world where:
-
The food industry profits from low-nutrient, inflammatory foods that drive modern disease.
-
The diet industry thrives on repeat customers (it barely existed before the 1970s, when obesity was rare).
-
And health systems that are often structured around managing disease rather than preventing it.
Together, these forces create an environment where it’s easy to get sick and harder to get well.
There is another way.
Your body’s main function is survival.
